Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a vital part of the Quakers Hill East Public School community, made up of parents, carers, and community members. The P&C works closely with the school to support planning, fundraising, and events, and to strengthen partnerships between families and staff.

Being part of the P&C is a fantastic way to connect with other families, make a difference, and contribute to our school's growth and success. Whether you’d like to help with fundraising, volunteer in the uniform shop, or offer your support at events, all parents and carers are welcome—and new members are always encouraged!

Why should I join the P&C?

The P&C is where you find out what is going on at the school.

P&C meetings provide you with the opportunity to liaise with the school principal and staff, and to be involved in the decision-making processes relating to the school and its functions. Involvement in the P&C introduces you to other parents, establishes useful networks and often lifelong friends.

How do I join the P&C?

To join the P&C, you need to download and complete a membership form(also available at the P&C meetings) and pay $2.00 membership.

P&C meetings

Our P&C meetings are held on Monday evenings during weeks 3 and 7 of each term from 6pm.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• getting involved in the P&C

• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
